Serological Studies on Neosporosis and Risk Factors Assessment among Bovines of Haryana, India

Background: Bovine neosporosis causes reproductive disorders and abortion among bovines resulting in production economic loss meat dairy industries. The current study was done to know about the status of Haryana State. Methods: A total 165 serum samples from Haryana, having history or were screened for brucellosis as well by ELISA. Result: All found serologically negative brucellosis, but seropositivity 33.94% observed monoscreen antibody significantly higher buffaloes (53.85%) than cows (21%), an Odds ratio 4.38. seropositive animals associated with a prevalence rate 36.36%, while none male diagnosed seropositive. Bovines age group 3-5 years more which had at third trimester pregnancy (43.05%) first (18.75%) second (38%) aborted bovines. multiparous exhibited (41.07%) comparison primiparous (23.81%) present confirms presence N. caninum antibodies bovine population
